Warehouse Manager —Amsterdam, Netherlands

 

Full-time

Due to global success, we are expanding into Europe and seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our new distribution center in the Netherlands, starting in September. Working closely with our Head of Logistics (based in NZ), this position will need to have a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to assist in establishing and launching our EU operations, and subsequently supporting rapid growth.

What you will do (but not limited to):

 

  • Set-up and embed AS Colour systems and processes in our brand-new warehouse site.
  • Manage all warehouse operations from inwards through to dispatch in a clean, safe, productive and efficient manner.
  • Oversee total warehouse operational flow through the interpretation of all information streams and systems available.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) standards through training, communication, tracking and reporting.
  • Build, lead and inspire a team which will grow in line with revenue growth.
  • Oversee training of all warehouse staff to perform their functions to a high standard and ensure a cross functional warehouse team.
    Ensure total inventory accuracy and have responsibility for the auditing thereof.
  • Manage a continual and sometimes heavy flow of inbound container deliveries of new inventory and execute an ever-growing volume of daily outbound orders.
  • Meet and or exceed monthly KPIs.
  • Oversee maintenance of all MHE and general warehouse equipment.
  • Key contact point for suppliers, building maintenance and inspections.

 

We want to work with someone who has:

 

  • 5yrs+ in a leadership warehousing role and successfully managed a team of 10+, in a consumer products warehouse.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to guide and motivate diverse staff in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Solid work ethic who can collaborate autonomously across departments.
  • Bilingual in Dutch and English as well as strong written and verbal communication skills to build, maintain, and foster solid and strong relationships.
  • Goal and solutions focused mindset who is a pro-active thinker, performs well under pressure and can manage time effectively to exceed department KPI's.
  • Competency with ERP, WMS systems and adapting to new software.
  • Mechanically minded to quickly identify an issue and resolve.
    Strong process and procedure development, implementation and management thereof.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with EU Employment Law.
    Ability to work autonomously, self-directed with a can-do attitude, has a hands-on approach and will see that the job gets completed to an exceptional level.
  • Skilled in operating MHE – Reach, VNA Stock Picker and VNA truck with current and valid licenses. Advantageous to have Wire Guided Truck Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) and Man-Up Picker experience, although not essential.
  • Has the right to live and work in the EU permanently with a current and valid passport.

Warehouse Operative —Leighton Buzzard

We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable and energetic Warehouse Storeperson to join our friendly team. This is a great opening and if you have been looking for a role that will utilise your operation skills and be part of an expanding business, this could be the job for you!

 

 

What you will do (but not limited to):

 

  • Picking orders with an RF Scanning Device.
  • Accurately checking and packing orders.
  • Orders dispatched on time and prioritsed where needed.
  • Correctly preparing retail store orders.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.

 

We want to work with someone who has:

 

  • 1-year minimum experience in general warehousing using RF scanning.
  • A good level of fitness - able to lift moderate to heavy cartons.
  • Excellent communication skills and accurate attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of safe manual handling techniques and warehouse H&S requirements.
  • Be reliable, able to cope in a busy work environment and meet deadlines.
  • To be an enthusiastic team player who shows initiative.
  • Forklift tickets preferred but not essential.
  • The right to live and work in the UK permanently.
